Boston Marathon 2025 Winners. Mcdermott was the first man to win the boston marathon in 1897, while roberta gibb in 1966 is the first woman to have run the entire boston marathon. Sisay lemma, of ethiopia, won the men’s division, and hellen obiri, of kenya, won the women’s division.
